8 More CTMH Studio J Layouts for Christopher's Album

I cannot believe that on July 23rd was 6 months since Christopher died. August 4th will be the day he would have turned 36 years old. In some ways it seem that time has gone slowly, and other times it has been flying by. I do miss his nightly calls, and hearing him say “ Hi Momma” or “I love you Momma”.
He very seldom called me Mom. I miss him very much.

I have added 8 more two page layouts to Christopher's photo album. I have not added any of the embellishments. I will be adding them when the weather gets cooler.

January 23/10 Saddest day of my life.

The 23rd of January started out great. My DH went to Dawson Creek, BC giving me time to do things I wanted to do for sometime. I took pictures and uploaded them to my blog. Worked in my house and got things done that I was putting off for sometime. DH got home around 6:30pm, and sat down to relax for the evening. I went into my scrapbooking room to work on the Stardust Workshop layout.

Around 7:30 pm there was a knock on our door. I opened the door to a policeman with two ladies standing there. The policeman asked me if I was CH, I said yes I was. He then proceeded to tell me our son had died earlier that morning. My Christopher had died of a sudden heart attack, in his apartment. He was all alone. He would be 36 this August 4th.

Needless to say the past 3 months have been indescribable.

I was not going to do the 10 introductory Studio J layouts but decided I would. I ended up doing 14 layouts for an album of Christopher. The layouts have arrived but I still have to put embellishments on them. Since my order arrived I have 20 more layouts ready for ordering. 10 are of Christopher and 10 are of my Grandchildren. When my dear Dad died I found that scrapbooking and fixing up photos of him really help me with the grieving process. Scrapbooking Christopher's photos have help me through my grieving of him. I miss him and think of him constantly.

Older Layout I did. Not CTMH product

This is a two page layout I did of our Rusty when he was a puppy.
We had him for 17 1/2 years. The little girl holding him is my daughter and Mommy of our Grandchildren.

This is a 4 page layout I did of our little Granddaughter. She is watering the flowers for her Mommy. She is about 22 months here. I love the picture of her in the little flower embellishment.

Here is a layout of our youngest Grandson making pudding for his Grandpa, brother, sister, and himself. This is the first time he made pudding for his Grandpa. He is so proud.

Here is a two page layout I did of our oldest Grandson and his Grandpa. We had a lot of fun that day.

Close To My Heart - National paper crafting month.

This month CTMH is having a daily draw for the Felicity Collection papercrafting kit. www.nationalpapercraftingmonth.blogspot.com

Everyday we are asked different questions.

Today, we were asked to tell friends, and family about our favourite embellishments, and post it to our blog.

My favourite embellishments are "ALL EMBELLISHMENTS PLUS MORE" excluding big, thick and chunky embellishments. I love bling embellishments, brads, eyelets, ribbon, embroidery floss, rubons, metal with words, flowers, buttons, kids shoelaces with words, to name a few. Plus MORE are different items I have found at flee markets such as earrings, broaches, necklaces, lapel pins, the list could go on. I also love shaker boxes. My favourite embellishment at this time is a metal flower, and the middle part is a photo of my little granddaughter when she was about 18 months old.
